Swipe until you hear the item you want, then double tap anywhere on the screen. You do not need to tap on the item. Direct taps on buttons also work.
Each level makes the opponent harder to score against. On I'm not ready, the puck gradually speeds up throughout each rally. Speed resets after a goal. Your choice saves automatically.

Hold the phone upright in portrait, charging port at the bottom. The computer goal is at the top. Your goal is at the charging-port end. Left and right match your own left and right while holding the phone this way.
Use the correct left and right earbuds. These channel tests send a tone entirely to one channel, with no airflow or paddle hum. If both tests sound centered in both ears, check iPhone Settings, Accessibility, Audio & Visual: turn Mono Audio off and center Balance. A website cannot change those phone settings.
The puck’s left-right sound follows its position across the table and reverses with wall bounces. Its volume grows as it enters your half and fades as it travels toward the opponent. The default click keeps the same pitch and rhythm so loudness tells you depth. Equal sound in both ears means the puck is in the center.
The game supports sound, vision, or both. These changes affect appearance only, not difficulty or hit detection.
Your paddle is cyan with a round handle. The computer is amber with two dark stripes. Both have bold outlines. The puck has a contrasting outline and optional short trail. Large labels identify goals and a message shows hits and scores. No full-screen flashing is used.
This optional mode uses ordinary taps in menus. Spoken navigation can be restored in Game voice and controls.
Touch feedback: a gentle vibration on your paddle hits, on supported devices. iPhone web apps do not support gameplay vibration.

Motion setup needed before play
Hold the phone screen up, with the charging port toward you for a centered paddle sound, balanced in both ears. Tilt right to make the paddle louder in your right ear; tilt left to make it louder in your left ear. Return to level to center it again. The sound stays audible while you hold the tilt. Listen to the puck approaching and make a physical backswing and forward return, or a short forward push, when it is close. A quicker swing sends it faster; a gentler swing sends it slower. Angling the stroke changes its direction. Tilt only positions the paddle; it never hits by itself. Follow the puck with your paddle. Contact alignment is forgiving, but a return needs both a nearby paddle and your physical stroke. No swing means you can miss.
Hold the phone firmly in either hand, screen up, with the charging port toward you. Activate Start motion setup, allow access if asked, then hold it level within three seconds. Small hand movements are okay. Practice before starting a match. Return to your starting grip between strokes; you do not need to prepare each stroke separately.
Motion is required for gameplay. Menus work with VoiceOver.
During the serve countdown, wait for Puck is dropped, then swing to serve. During rallies, follow the puck sound and time your swing near your end. Two-finger double-tap pauses or resumes. A brief interruption or phone lock saves your grip and reconnects automatically. A match pauses during an interruption; resume when ready. Leaving Audio Stop ends the motion session. Tilt controls paddle position. Turning or sliding the phone while it is level does not leave the paddle off-center. This does not measure exact hand position in the room.
The game narrator is separate from VoiceOver. Its voice and speed save on this device. The internal screen reader loads automatically. Safari may wait for your first swipe or tap before it can speak. The talking interface supplies its own menu gestures after you turn VoiceOver off yourself. This page cannot switch iPhone VoiceOver off for you.
Navigation volume stays audible even if you mute game sounds. Exit the talking interface to stop its navigation speech. Paddle control method is fixed to direct touch while the talking interface is active.

With VoiceOver controls, focus Paddle position while playing. Swipe up or down to adjust it in five-percent steps. You can also double-tap Move left, Move right or Center. This mode may be slower than direct finger sliding; please test its playability on your iPhone.
Leaving menu narration off helps avoid two voices reading the same heading. The game narrator still speaks instructions and scores. Adjust its volume under Sound settings, Spoken score.
Choose a voice, then test it.
Open a collapsed group to find its sound test and volume. Adjust with the decrease and increase buttons, or swipe up and down on the volume slider. Every sound has its own volume and changes save automatically.
Left and right follow the puck’s actual position and wall bounces. Volume rises smoothly on your half and falls toward the opponent. The default clicks keep the same pitch and rhythm.
A clearer surface glide and low position tone follow your moving paddle left and right. It softens when your finger stops. Adjust this independently of the puck.
Real arcade machines and distant people. Lower this to hear the puck more clearly; zero turns it off.
A louder clack with a short rounded confirmation tone means YOUR paddle hit the puck. The opponent uses a lower clack and knock. Test these sounds separately before playing.
A lower clack with a short knock identifies the opponent’s return at the far end.
One metallic clink on the side the puck hits.
A bright rising celebration means you scored. A lower descending sound means the opponent scored. The spoken score follows.
A quick descending two-note warning means your finger is nearing the phone border. Move inward, especially away from the bottom Home gesture area. This tracks your finger, separately from puck and paddle-wall sounds.
Ready.
Use stereo headphones. Keep VoiceOver on if you use it. Activate Start motion play. Safari may ask you to Allow motion. That choice belongs to each player; it cannot be shared through a link.

Wait for Puck is dropped, then swing back and forward through your starting grip to serve. During rallies, listen for the approaching puck. Higher, louder and quicker cues mean it is close. Swing when it reaches your end. A quicker forward stroke sends it faster; a gentle stroke sends it slower. Return to your starting grip between shots.
Hold the phone level and horizontal to center your paddle and balance its sound in both ears. Tilt right to make it louder in your right ear; tilt left to make it louder in your left ear. Returning to level always brings it back to center. A short forward push also hits without needing a large phone rotation. Tilt only positions the paddle and never hits by itself. Follow the puck by sound, then push or swing to hit. Contact alignment stays forgiving; a puck too far from your paddle can pass you. These are bounded phone gestures, not exact tracking of hand position in the room.
First to seven wins. Two-finger double-tap pauses or resumes. The paused menu offers recalibration and End game. After a phone lock or interruption, motion reconnects with your saved grip. Resume the paused match when ready. Finger sliding never hits or moves the paddle.
Arcade background volume is adjustable and can be turned off. Gameplay sounds and speech take priority. Motion practice is available from Phone paddle and physical strokes.
